Stuff

Friends and Teammates

you!

You can invite Friends to collaborate on Shared Lists with you as Teammates. Friends are added by their usernames. You can also search your contacts for associated emails of people you know who may already be using Stuff.

Adding Friends

Friends are added by sending a friend request. Once the other Doer accepts, you'll both see each other in your Friends list and can start collaborating. Requests can also be rejected if you'd rather not.

Teammates on Shared Lists and Spaces

Once two doers are friends, you can invite each other as Teammates on Shared Lists and Shared Spaces. Inviting a friend to a Space brings them along to every List inside of it, so they get access to the whole workspace at once. Teammates can be invited with either read access or write access, depending on how much you want them to be able to edit.

Removing a Friend

When you remove a friend, Stuff cleans up everything that was shared between the two of you. This keeps things tidy on both sides, so your Friends list and your shared work always stay in sync. Specifically, removing a friend will:

  • Remove that friend as a Teammate from every Shared List and Shared Space that you own
  • Remove you as a Teammate from every Shared List and Shared Space that they own
  • Dismiss any pending invitations between the two of you If you become friends again later, you'll need to re-invite each other to anything you want to collaborate on.
